Interface Global Education / Asia E
Integrated Global Education (IGE) is a Malaysian education provider which is in partnership with Asia E University (A@U) to produce the university’s Executive Masters in Management program. The program comprises 12 modules which are run over 15 months. To provide students with a more holistic global outlook, IGE conducts their International Business module outside of Malaysia at Murdoch University.
In November 2010, the first cohort attended Murdoch Executive Education Centre to facilitate a 4-day study trip to Perth, with 2 days (10 hours) dedicated to the in-class session on International Business and the remainder of the time on industry visits. The 2-day program comprises topics on, global economics; productivity; global competitiveness; the role of culture in international business; international strategy; mergers, alliances and joint ventures; and future direction in international business.
The program includes real life case studies and includes business practices in Australia to enhance the international experience and exposure for the students. The program has been a resounding success, and continues with two cohorts attending Murdoch annually. IGE expects 80 – 100 students each cohort, twice a year.
