Aroona Alliance
The Aroona Alliance identified six high potential managers for whom it wished to provide project-based management and leadership development. The scope of this program was to develop the six managers via the inception, coping and delivery of a specific project that would provide near term benefits for the Alliance and more intangible long term value of enhanced management and leadership capability.
The program applied theoretical and imaginative work on leadership and management to the practical and technical requirements of a project that delivered measurable value to the Alliance. The framework of the program should be clearly related to the Alliances Leadership Competencies Framework and become a component of each participant’s individual development plan.
To this end, Murdoch EEC designed a program abstracting the core components of its flagship program, Management Masterclass, and structured it into a series of five management and leadership workshops, with two half-day workshops framing the beginning and end of the program. The sessions also involved appropriate technical expertise relevant to the project that emerged, and included relevant stakeholders from the Alliance.
