Frank is the Chief Financial Officer at Murdoch University, providing strategic leadership for the university’s business and finance functions, as well as for the management of its financial and capital resources.

Frank is a commercially focused Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner with over 30 years’ experience in all facets of financial management, able to support and deliver growth and genuine results. He has been acknowledged for balanced judgement, stability, and inherent capacity to identify the true potential of ventures, projects, and company operations.

Prior to joining Murdoch University, Frank was appointed as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at TAFE NSW to lead whole of finance improvement transformation and was part of the strategic working group for the review of TAFE NSW Operating and financial model.

Frank has worked in the Higher education sector for many years and was the Chief Financial Officer at UTS, he also worked at UNSW and Wollongong University where he designed and implemented a new funding model which included setting clear and agreed KPI’s with faculties and divisions.  This allowed the university to invest in research and teaching initiatives as well as meet their ambitious capital expansion plans and other key strategies.

He brings extensive experience in strategic financial and administrative stewardship. He is an innovative and transformational leader having had oversight of all financial and shared services functions including, financial compliance, taxation, financial planning, budgeting and reporting, procurement, treasury, insurance and payroll services, business continuity, governance and risk, within large complex education sectors and global commercial environments.
